particular situation.

take place on the assigned area.
EIGHT BASIC
AREAS OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION
I. ORGANIZATION
- How are the groups set up in your church?
- Who is responsible for what?
- What are the lines of authority and coordination?
- How are decisions and changes made?
- What are the financial resources?
- How the facilities are distributed among groups?
II. PLANNING
- How the needs are assessed in your church?
- How do the needs become operational goals and
objectives?
- What have been some of the strategies to achieve the
designed objectives?
- Who, when and where the strategies have been
implemented?
- Who oversees the execution of the plan?
- What have been some of the evaluation steps that have
been followed?
III. LEADERSHIP
- How leadership for education is recruited?
- How are they trained?
- How are they continuously supported?
- How do you retain leadership?
- What type of resources should the church provide to
the educators/leadership?
- Is there a job description for each leadership
role?
IV. COORDINATION & CONTROL
- Who is ultimately responsible for the function of the
educational ministry?
- What is the vertical axis of responsibility?
- What is the horizontal axis of responsibility?
- How coordination takes place? (Church Calendar)
- Who keeps records? Which records are
taken?
- How records are used in the planning process for the
future?
